The Furuno FM4800 is a radiotelephone with built-in Class D DSC, GPS Receiver, AIS Receiver, and Simplified Loud Hailer with intercom. Its built-in 72 channel GPS with internal antenna eliminates the need for an external GPS antenna and wiring requirements. With the Class D DSC, the FM 4800 allows making both routine and distress calls in case of emergency. Plug and play NMEA2000 interface allows you to easily connect the FM-4800 to your navigation devices. When connected to the NavNet TZtouch2, DSC calls can be initiated directly from the multi-functional display.

This radiotelephone is IP67 Waterproof and has listen-back feature which is incredibly useful for the pilot to hear voices from the docks, deck, or even other nearby vessels. The optional handset HS-4800 supports all the functionality of the FM-4800 and works as a second station which also supports the intercom function.
